Our purpose
Our purpose is to make essential business calculations understandable without requiring a spreadsheet, an account, or specialist software. Use the platform to explore a pricing decision, review a campaign, or check whether a sales target covers your costs.
Choose the right tool
- Profit Margin Calculator
Review how much of your revenue remains after the costs you include.
- Markup Calculator
Build a selling price from cost and a chosen percentage added above cost.
- ROI Calculator
Compare an investment's gain or loss with its initial cost over your chosen period.
- ROAS Calculator
Compare attributed advertising revenue with campaign spend, without treating revenue as net profit.
- Break Even Calculator
Estimate the sales volume needed to cover fixed costs using consistent unit prices and variable costs.
A practical way to use the results
Start with one question and a consistent scope. For a single product, use per-unit figures; for a reporting period, use totals for that same period. Enter all money amounts in one currency. These tools do not convert currencies or forecast demand.
For example, revenue of 10000 and included costs of 7000 produce profit of 3000 and a 30% margin. If another 1500 of expenses belongs in the same scope, include it in cost: profit becomes 1500 and margin becomes 15%. A useful comparison begins with matching cost definitions.
Methodology and limitations
Each calculator explains its formula, input definitions, example, and important edge cases. Calculations use unrounded input values; displayed results are rounded to two decimal places. A zero denominator is shown as N/A rather than a meaningful percentage.
The guides describe assumptions instead of promising a universal margin, return, or advertising benchmark. Worked examples are illustrative, not reported results from actual companies. Check the relevant guide before using a result for a business decision.
Privacy, accessibility, and feedback
The current calculators process inputs in your browser without saving them in browser storage or sending them to a calculation server. Ordinary website requests still reach the hosting provider. Read the Privacy Policy for hosting and planned third-party services.
We use labeled inputs, keyboard-accessible controls, and responsive layouts. If you find an unclear explanation, accessibility issue, or unexpected result, the Contact page explains what to include in a helpful report.
